Employment for Disabled (Walking with Crutches)
I would just want to ask if there is a discrimination in UAE, KSA and other country by not employing a differently abled person.
I have been interviewed many times by a foreign company and some would confirm that I am qualified. When I am going to apply to a manpower agency here in the Philippines, they told me that UAE, and KSA would not employ disabled. Is that true? Vin_zed@yahoo.com

It is totally depend on two things; what is the nature of your work-to-be and how severe your disability. First and foremost, you should make the employer aware of your situation. Since they are the only one that can issue medical waiver for you stating that they are still accepting you despite of your disability. So our local agency will have no liability from your situation and this will help them to proceed with your application.
Second, you have to know what will be your day-to-day activities i.e. job descriptions. Since even the employer accepted you, still they don't have the exact idea of your situation. And this is also good for you because you can evaluate and decide whether the job is really for you and that can really help you or it will make your life harder instead. Getting a job is harder as quitting once you found out that you are not capable of doing it.
