Special Academic Program For OFWs and Dependents

The Eulogio "Amang" Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) and Srcbc - Continental University Centre (S-CUC) a State College accredited by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) aims to provide better opportunities for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW's) and their dependents by offering a special academic program that would upgrade their academic credentials by modular form of instructions.

 

The said educational institutions want to help OFW’s and their dependents to upgrade their academic credentials while working abroad which may help them improve their employment status. Foreign countries offer high salary and working visas to OFW’s who has professional academic credentials.

 

One can apply also WITH or WITHOUT Personal Computer or Internet and be a Degree Holder.

 

PERIOD OF APPLICATION:  Anytime!

 

COURSES OFFERED

1. Bachelor’s Degree Program (8 Semesters for 32 months)

    (a) BS in Computer Science

    (b) BS in Business Administration

    (c) BS in Accountancy

    (d) AB in English Language

2. Master's Degree Program (5 Semesters for 20 months)

    (a) Master’s in Business Administration (Management)

 

ELIGIBILITY:

1. Bachelor's Degree: Those who have one of following option as High School Graduate.

    (a) Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW’s)

     (b) OFW’S dependants

     (c) Company workers who work in EPZA.

2.  Master’s in Business Administration: Those who have one of following option as a bachelor degree holder.

    (a) Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW’s)

     (b) OFW’S dependants

     * For Non Business Administration Graduate:

       Refresher Subjects (12 units) are required.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

1.  Bachelor’s Degree:

        a. Correctly accomplished application form

        b. High School Form 137 or Report Card or PEPT Result

        c. Birth Certificate

        d. Picture (1.5x 1.5) jpeg format.

        e. Photocopy of Passport of OFW

        f. Photocopy of Maintenance Fee Receipt

 2.  Master’s in Business Administration:

       a. Correctly accomplished application form

       b. Transcript of Records of Bachelor Degree

       c. Birth Certificate

       d. Picture (1.5x 1.5) jpeg format

       e.  Photocopy of Passport of OFW

       f. Photocopy of Maintenance Fee Receipt

 

MAINTENANCE FEE:

P 6,000 for Full trimesters until graduation

 

1.  Dependant's maintenance fee is exempted

The P 6,000 of maintenance fee for first dependant is free but the second dependant needs to pay P 3,000 as maintenance fee.

 

If the OFW hasn't applied yet, and the dependant wants to avail the program, he/she must submit the said requirements for enrollment process and proof of relationship between OFW and his/her Dependant for perusal.

 

2.  OFW should pay as below schedules

   a) Bachelor's Degree: P 6, 000 cash basis for all trimesters

   * Installment bases: P 6, 500

   P1,100 from 1st trimester - 5th trimester and

   P1,000 for the 6th trimester.

   b) Master's Degree: P 6, 000 cash basis for all trimesters

   * Installment bases: P 6, 500

   P1,300 from 1st trimester until 5th trimester.

   * Refresher Subjects (12 units) P3,000

 

* For an OFW who wants to deposit his/her payment, he/she must deposit one hundred sixty five in US dollars ($165) as a maintenance fee for all trimesters. He/she may request for a representative to deposit the payment in Peso under his/her name following the above scheme.

 

3. The maintenance fees should be deposited to the bank under the student’s name.
