Q: What is your stand in the ongoing impeachment trial of Chief Justice Corona?
Corona is guilty of all the charges against him.
Corona is not guilty, just a victim of a conspiracy.

Beware of Illegal Recruiters for UK

Mar 9, 2009

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) recently issued an advisory regarding illegal recruiters that convince Filipino students to go to United Kingdom (UK) using only student visas.

The government agency warned Filipinos aspiring to work and study in UK to think twice before accepting student visas for UK to avoid being a victim of illegal recruitment.

These unscrupulous individuals/companies promised hopeful applicants a 20-hour job with pay in nursing homes as part of the curriculum they will take in UK.

The Filipino students paid 2,500 to 3,500 British Pounds or Php 173,749 to Php 243,249 as payment for their tuition and student visas. Upon arrival in UK, the students were also asked to pay another GBP 150 or Php 10,425

The amount supposedly enrolled them at the London School of Health & Management Studies (LSHMS). However, the courses offered to the students are not available in the school mentioned. The school was raided by police authorities for the inability to comply with the promises.
