Q: What do you think about the deployment ban in Iraq?
It should be lifted because there are job opportunities for OFWs there.
The ban is necessary for the protection of OFWs.
I don't care about this issue.

just pls pls before you decide to work in yemen you must think a 100 times...bec.i assure you that you will regret it .yemen is hell like place esp.there in HAJJAH in saudi hospital in hajjah god a salary of 587usd and dealing with illiterate pipol what you will expect in that place. - Hazel Anne Ocampo

im working here in yemen right now... inside the ministry of defense... presidential hospital... they are calling this also as alordhi hospital... but i think they need to hire staff to another hospital not here in my workplace...

only hopeless people that cant find a better job can go here... if you still have hope to find another work aside from yemen... just go there... i'm not discouraging you guys to come here... but base on my experience... it is much better to go to other middle east countries than to be here...

you must be strong..not too much physically but emotionally... or they will be the cause of your death... hehehe... you must have a heart of stone... they are jealous to us... i mean to foreigners because we are receiving more salary than them... and even small mistakes that you have done...will be a very big issue... promise... that's true... i have experienced it...

please consider this as a warning... because once you signed the contract... there is no turning back... and the contract that i have signed includes Over Time and Holiday pay... but they didnt give any... not everything written in the contract is true... when you came here already... you cant do anything but to follow what they like...

moreover, there are lots of hepa A B C and HIV patients that you will encounter...be careful...

as what they have said... yemeni people are not concerned with their hygiene... expect the unexpected...or their smell will knock you out... their attitudes also bothers me... it so different... as in... "extreme" just read between the lines... i am suffering from depression and stress here because of how they think and act... even professionals act like a market vendor... imagine those things...hehehe...

anyway... i am just finishing my contract... after that...i will not comeback here...

i hope that i have helped those who are interested to go here...

PS. last september 17 2008, if i remember it right... the US embassy was bombed by terrorists... and we are just beside it... just a wall and a small street separates us from the US embassy... it was a traumatic experience for us who lives nearby the US embassy... thank God im alive... i came here in yemen september8... so, 1 week after i came here... i have experienced such thing...hehehe... the security here is terrible... check the internet... for more details...hehehe...

thank you very much...
take care always and God bless... - Claudevash

uu mahirap na bansa ang yemen pero mas mabait cla sa saudi galing aq sa saudi at yemen mas mabait cla,nag work aq for 6mos dun sa oil drilling. - Joey

mga kababayan ko sa pinas you must think so many times bago nyo i grab ang oppurtunity sa yemen. Kasalukuyan nandito me sa saudi..ugali ng badoo same as ugali ng yemeni..ingatz na lang. - Gardo

hi naku ok lng ung budget in terms of salary dahil nman hospital ung mapupuntahan. - Vianicci

- Concern OFW
