International Cruise Costa Classica To Hire Filipino Crews

Italian-owned Costa Classica of the Costa Cruises Inc. recently docked in the Philippines for the first time bringing good news to Filipinos who want to be part of their growing team.

 

Through news program TV Patrol World, the cruise announced its job vacancies for Filipinos.

 

The European cruise needs room attendant, waiters, laundrymen, registered nurses, oil and gas, technical instructors, senior drilling instructors, 4th engineer, pumpman, oilers, cook, pantryman, welders, drillers, 3rd engineer, chief mate, 3rd mate, 2nd engineer, chief engineer.

 

The international cruise company is very pleased with Filipinos’ good work performance which is why most of its crews are Filipinos. Aside from Costa Classica other cruise ship of Costa Cruise hires mostly Filipinos.

 

The Department of Labor and Employment secretary Marianito Roque said earlier about the satisfaction of foreign employers to Filipinos. Recently, Danish-owned shipping firm announced their interest in hiring Filipino seafarers as they found Filipino’s work ethics very exceptional compared to other foreign workers.

 

Costa Classica teamed up with the Magsaysay Shipping Corporation (MGC) for the application and recruitment procedure.

 

The MGC is an established manning and shipping agency in the country which deploy highly skilled seamen and crews in international shipping companies like Costa Cruises.

 

Interested applicants should present the following documents to process their application, comprehensive resume with scanned 2x2 picture, professional licenses (according to your profession, ie. seafarer license), college and training diplomas, and employment certificate from previous employers.
