Top Earning Jobs Available for OFWs in Macau!

Macau is said to be Asia’s Las Vegas for being the premiere location of luxurious hotels and amusement center in the Asia-Pacific region.

Most of the jobs in Macau are in hospitality industry since this small region of China is surrounded by hotels and casinos. Overseas Filipino Workers based in Macau mostly worked as service crews, bartenders, bellboys, chambermaids and waiters.

Job Opportunities for Filipino workers in Macau is still high though the city suffered its lowest point last year due to recession, Macau managed to bounce back.

The demand for foreign workers especially OFWs also increase especially this coming holiday where thousands of tourists are expected to visit to spend Christmas and New Year.

According to a survey conducted by MacauHR, one of Macau’s leading recruitment firm, expatriates or foreign workers earned more than Macau’s local citizens. Engineers, accountants, bankers and IT specialists were noted as one of the highest paid jobs in Macau.

Aside from the mentioned job positions above, hotel workers also earn well in Macau. Aside from the monthly salary that they are getting, hotel workers earn more on tips from the customers.

According to www.workabroad.ph, most of the job vacancies were receptionists, guest relation officer, reservation staff and massage therapists.
