Domestic helpers from the Philippines are in demand worldwide because they are known to be hardworking, honest, fast learner and sincere. They are also applauded for having good command of the English language, probably due to the fact that most of them are well-educated. It is therefore not surprising that there is an approved job order for 200 domestic helpers in Hong Kong.

The Asian International Manpower Services, Inc. (AIMS) is the agency that is now handling the recruitment. According to a job posting of AIMS in WorkAbroad.ph, the job opening in Hong Kong is open to female applicants aged between 23 to 28 years old. Work experience is not required but those with previous experience have an advantage over other applicants. Selected applicants will receive a monthly salary of HK Dollar 3580 or more or less Php 22,000.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents: two sets of their bio-data, w/ picture, release letter (for ex-abroad), passport, school records and training certificates.

The principal employers will be in the Philippines on February 18, 2010 (9 am) to interview applicants.  However applicants are advised not to wait for the next interview schedule. Rather they are encouraged to apply personally at the agency’s office because they currently conduct daily Principal's Webcam Interview for immediate processing.
