Q: What is your stand in the ongoing impeachment trial of Chief Justice Corona?
Corona is guilty of all the charges against him.
Corona is not guilty, just a victim of a conspiracy.

DFA Transfers To A New Building, Promise Faster and Better Service

Feb 15, 2010

Along with the announcement of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) about its new consular building that is soon to open is the promise that they can give better services to the Filipino people. The DFA Secretary, Alberto Romulo said that now passport applicants can expect faster service as the new facility can process as many as 4,000 passports a day.

In a radio interview at DZXL radio, Romulo said, “Mga 3,000 to 4,000 a day, mas maginhawa ang proseso ng pag-apply. Ang ating objective is within shortest possible time, makakaalis sila agad."

The DFA secretary added that the 4000 passports a day excludes the number of appointments that can be scheduled via internet. The new DFA building is located near SM Mall of Asia at the corner of Bradco and Macapagal Avenues in Aseana Business Park, Parañaque City. It will soon be opened in a few weeks and will be the home of the ePassport, the electronic authentication system, the electronic visa system, and digitalized consular records system.

A previous DFA announcement regarding the new building said, “Consular clients will now have the comfort of waiting their turn, sitting on ergonomically-designed stainless steel benches. Instead of long queues, clients can shorten their wait by accessing the DFA’s online appointment system. They now only have to move from ground to second floor for their consular applications."
