The United Arab Emirates is a federation of emirates made up of Abu Dhabi (with 80% of the area), Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Qaiwain. Though completely different from the Philippines with its hot climate and sandy environment, it has become a second home to almost 100,000 Filipinos who are working for their loved ones.
