Singapore Offers Thousands of Jobs to all OFWs!!!

Mar 19, 2010

Singapore is considered as one of the most desired destinations among Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) due to their continuous hiring of skilled and non-skilled workers.

Based on the April-September 2007 survey conducted by the National Statistics Office, there are about 1.7 million Filipinos left the country to work abroad, 6 percent of that or 105,000 OFWs work in Singapore.

The survey also showed that most OFWs in Singapore and other countries were unskilled workers such as domestic helpers, cleaners and manufacturing laborers.

However, due to the emerging number of highly qualified Filipino professionals, such countries like Singapore, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Australia and USA were now hiring skilled Filipino workers.

WorkAbroad.ph has thousands of job openings in Singapore posted by POEA licensed agencies. Job vacancies mostly are nurses, IT professionals, Domestic Helpers, Hotel workers and Engineers.
