Q: What is your stand in the ongoing impeachment trial of Chief Justice Corona?
Corona is guilty of all the charges against him.
Corona is not guilty, just a victim of a conspiracy.
I have no interest in the impeachment trial of Corona.

Noel Malonzo: Happy and Fulfilled in Singapore

Jun 28, 2010

The reason of Noel Malonzo, a native of Las Pinas City on wanting to work abroad is not uncommon. He wanted a better job and a higher salary that would enable him to give her daughter a better future.

Luckily, Noel did not have a hard time looking for a job. He applied for an overseas job posting he found at WorkAbroad.ph and underwent a screening process with the agency that posted the job opening. Since it was a 1-day hiring process, he was offered a job before he went home that day. He signed the job contract to work as an IT Helpdesk in Singapore and arrived in his current location in December of 2009.

Noel was not disappointed with what he had found in Singapore. In fact according to him, there is a not a day that he is not thankful since he arrived. After only six months of working,he was promoted to a second level position. It is also definitely not an all work atmosphere for him there. He can afford to pursue leisurely activities like exploring different tourist spots such as Singapore Zoo, The Night Safari, Jurong Bird Park, Underwater Adventure, Universal Studios Singapore and a lot of the shopping malls that can be found there.

Noel’s happiness in Singapore is very evident when he said that every waking moment in Singapore is memorable. He loves the feeling of waking up in such a beautiful country that had provided him a job that pays a good amount of money and allows him to provide for his children. But if there’s one morning that stands out, its the morning that he picked up his daughter and wife from the airport when they visited him in Singapore.

As a successful Filipino worker, Noel has this message to fellow OFWs around the world: Work hard and be the best that you can be, for yourself, for your family and for your future.
