SSS at Your Fingertips: Check Your SSS Contribution Through Text (Updated)

Hello fellowOFW! Did you know that you can check your SSS contributions through text? If not, read this article up to the end.
1) Register
First off, you should register to the Text SSS service. Here's how:
In your phone, key in SSS REG <SS Number> <Date of Birth in mm/dd/yy format> and send to 2600
Example: SSS REG 0337500398 10/26/79 and send to 2600
Wait until you receive a message informing you of your Personal Identification Number (PIN) code.
Take note of this PIN code because you will need this everytime you do SSS inquiries through text.
2) Input an inquiry
Check your contribution by using this keyword:
SSS CONTRIB <your SS number> <PIN> and then send to 2600
Example: SSS REG 0337500398 1234 and send to 2600
Oops! What's my PIN again?
In case you forgot your PIN, you can retrieve it by doing this:
SSS RESET <SS number> <Date of birth in mm/dd/yy format> and send to 2600.
A Smart or Globe subscriber is charged P2.50 while Sun Cellular subscribers are charged P2.00 in every successful SSS transaction throught their mobile phones.
That's not all. Aside from checking your SSS contribution via your mobile phone, you can also check the status of your loan and your loan balance via the SSS text service.
For Loan Status, text:
SSS LOANSTAT <your SS number> <PIN> and then send to 2600
For Loan Balance, text:
SSSLOANBAL <your SS number> <PIN> and then send to 2600
