OFWs in Hongkong Urged to Register Early For 2016 National Elections

Filipinos who are working and/residing in Hong Kong are encouraged to register themselves as early as now for the 2016 national elections.
Applications may be filed starting May 7, 2014 until October 31, 2015, Philippine time. And all Pinoy applicants can visit the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong at 9am to 4pm during Sundays to Thursdays.
OFWs who are not registered voters yet can also file an application for registration and those who are already registered can request a certification of registration.
In case that there is a need to transfer a voter's registration records, it can be filed at the foreign posts or before the Comelec Office for Overseas voting during the said registration period.
