History

Inspired by the success in the Philippines of its parent company, John Clements Consultants Inc.(the pioneer in Executive Recruitment in the Philippines), EDI-Staffbuilders International, Inc. (EDI-SBII) started its humble beginnings in Bahrain in 1978. Their aim is to answer the growing need for Filipino Engineers and other professionals in the Middle East. With just a three-member staff during start-up, including the owner and founder, the late Mr. Leocadio Dominguez. And from there they have grown to be the leader in the Philippine overseas recruitment industry today.

Job Openings (For Saudi Arabia)

 

Marine Operation

  • Production Manager (for dry dock)

- Successful candidate will oversee the production in various shops (hull/piping/electrical/mechanical and marine operations and projects supervising in the maintenance and repair and operations of tankers, bunkers, various carriers and other types of vessels including various sizes of Voith Schneider and Azimuth Thrust propelled harbor tugs).

- Certification with endorsement such as U.S, U.K. or European issued marine engineers.

- Minimum of six years experience in the field and three years experience in shore superintendent position.

- Work experience in similar position in dry-dock and as Repair Superintendent for tanker and VSP and/or Azimuth Thrust drive tugs shall be required.

 

  • Production Manager (for hull pulling and mechanical)

- Successful candidate will oversee the production in various shops (hull/piping/electrical/mechanical and marine operations and projects supervising in the maintenance and repair and operations of tankers, bunkers, various carriers and other types of vessels including various sizes of Voith Schneider and Azimuth Thrust propelled harbor tugs).

- Certification with endorsement such as U.S, U.K. or European issued marine engineers shall be required.

- Minimum of five years experience in the field and three years in shore superintendent position.

- Work experience in similar position in dry-dock and as Repair Superintendent for tanker and VSP and/or Azimuth Thrust drive tugs shall be required.

 

  • Divers

- At least two years of diving in the field, holding a Certificate of Competency issued by the United Kingdom and Health and Safety Executive or Department of Energy Part 1 or an equivalent certificate of competency of diving acceptable to Saudi Aramco or three years military driving experience.

- Candidates should be qualified and experience in the use of scuba and surface supplied helmets and knowledge in their maintenance and repair.

 

  • Foremen (hullshop)

- Successful candidate will oversee the production in various shops (hull/piping/electrical/mechanical and marine operations and projects supervising in the maintenance and repair and operations of tankers, bunkers, various carriers and other types of vessels including various sizes of Voith Schneider and Azimuth Thrust propelled harbor tugs).

- Certification with endorsement such as U.S, U.K. or European issued marine engineers shall be required.

- The candidates should have a minimum of five years experience in the field.

- Work experience in the same position in dry-dock for tankers and VSP and/or Azimuth Thrust drive tugs shall be required.

 

  • Foremen (blast/paintshop)

- Successful candidate will oversee the production in various shops (hull/piping/electrical/mechanical and marine operations and projects supervising in the maintenance and repair and operations of tankers, bunkers, various carriers and other types of vessels including various sizes of Voith Schneider and Azimuth Thrust propelled harbor tugs).

- Certification with endorsement such as U.S, U.K. or European issued marine engineers shall be required.

          - The candidates should have a minimum of five years experience in the field.

- Work experience in the same position in dry-dock for tankers and VSP and/or Azimuth Thrust drive tugs shall be required.
