Take and pass the KLT.

Upon passing the exam, submit your medical certificate to POEA.

Wait for the Results from Korea-HRD.

Chosen applicants will receive a call from GPB-POEA and will be offered a working contract from three to five years.

The hired applicant should apply for a working visa at the Korean Embassy in Makati City and will undergo the Pre-departure Training of POEA, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Occupational Health Safety and Health Center (OSHC), and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

Passing the EPS-KLT will give you a chance to be included in the Profile List and be chosen by Korean employers. However it does not guarantee 100% employment. There is a waiting period from one month to one year after passing the exam. However, there are also some KLT passers who never got hired.

Reminders:

The results for the May 6 KLT was announced last May 25. The results came from the International Korean language Foundation. Successful applicants will receive a certificate that is valid for two years. The names are posted at the POEA website.
