Tax
The Inland Revenue collects 10 percent tax for the first £1,920 and 22 percent for income between £1,920 and £29,900 and 40 percent tax if the income is beyond £29,900.
Insurance
Employers do not offer health insurance since there is a free National Health Service. When health insurance is offered it is considered a taxable benefit.
