A Database Analyst is responsible in storing, analyzing, evaluating, designing and encoding company’s database system. Database Analyst is formerly called data administrator because they also administrates the data flow within one organization.
Basic Task:
Database analyst will be working on a team making reports, designing and maintaining the confidentiality of data.
Write complex T-SQL reports from a variety of data bases.
Generate reports using queries, Excel, Reporting Services, and other solutions.
Create functions, stored procedures, and SSIS packages.
Strategize business projects, marketing and reports.
Making exceptional presentations for business clients.
Education and Training Requirements:
Must have Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related computer course.
Training with different application is preferred but not required.
Training certificate preferably Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) or CAD, SEO, SQL applications.
At least 1-3 years experience as database analyst or administrator.
Skills and Competency Requirements:
Wide knowledge in computer applications
Knowledge in T-SQL,SEO and Microsoft Office applications
Have knowledge on basic marketing
Have skills in presenting and designing reports.
Must be keen and accurate on analyzing data
Hard driven and can meet deadlines.
Ability to do multi tasking.

Ranges for PhP15, 000-PhP25, 000 a month
Overseas employment:
US- USD5, 750 or PhP279, 450 a month
UK- GBP3, 450 or PhP249, 987 a month
Australia- AUD4, 928 or PhP159, 292 a month
Work environment:
Database analyst often works in a busy office. They often work with a team, mostly with marketing associates doing deliberations and analysis. Database analyst is included as a white collar job, professionals who works in an office with their own desk and high end computers.
Working hours:
The minimum working hours of database analyst is 8 hours a day, but due to deadlines and projects they are obliged to work overtime with pay.
