Bank reconcilers are responsible in preparing and following up accounts of clients. They make further announcement of one’s account status and give further due to avoid having trouble with the bank. Studying and make background checks are also their work nature.
Basic Tasks:
Prepare the account documents and further announcements regarding the bank accounts of a customer.
Analyze numerical figures of reconciling items.
Conduct background checks, comparing the previous account case to the present.
Give notice and announcements to the customers.
Follow up previous and present account problems and make negotiations with the client.
Serve as the bank’s representative in giving out information and notices.
Encode accounts, deposits, and other important documents using the MS Office Applications.
Keep and assure the confidentiality of records.
Report unusual changes or mistakes regarding the accounts to the bank manager and to the customer.
Education and Training Requirements:
Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Passer), Banking and Finance or any business related course.
Must have 2-5 years experience working in a bank preferably as a Bank Reconciler or related job.

Local Employment:
Ranging from PhP10, 000- PhP15, 000 a month
Overseas Employment
UK- GBP18, 000 or PhP1, 278, 753 per annum
US-USD35, 000 or PhP2, 486, 464 per annum
Skills and Competency Requirements:
Must have wide knowledge in Banking system
Must be accurate and keen in inspecting accounts.
Knowledge in accounting and bookkeeping
Ability to do good transactions with customers such as informing transactions, accounts, notices and other important matters.
Ability to do accounting and finance works.
Ability to use MS Office Applications.
Must have good communication skills
Can do research works and can present numerical figures to present to clients and bank officers.
Must be patient and not temperamental.
