There is a job order for 100 Filipino railway workers in Romania as informed by a recruitment consultant. Hired workers will work in the fourth largest railway network in Europe. According to Emmanuel Geslani, the recruitment agency Jerphi Placement and Overseas Trading Corp received 100 job orders from an employer in Romania. Romania needs to hire workers for the maintenance of its railway network.
The biggest country in Southeastern Europe, has 22,300 kilometers of railroad tracks that carried 45 percent of all passengers and freight traffic in 2007.
Romania needs the following personnel: railway construction foremen, steel benders, asphalting foremen, train engine operators, railway constructors, road engineers, welders, and machine-cutters.
The recruitment agency invites interested applicants preferably with work experience in railroad and road-building projects to submit their applications at Jerphi’s office at Unit 219, Aurora Bldg. 2 at Arquiza corner Bocobo Sts. Ermita, Manila.
Applicants are advised to bring the following requirements: passports, six 2x2 passport pictures, transcript of records, job certifications, and NBI clearance.
