To cope with labor shortage, Filipino skilled workers are very in-demand in Australia. Filipinos whose professions are included in their Skilled Occupation List (SOL) can apply for a work permit. In granting a work permit, the following are taken into consideration: age, English language ability, occupation, recent work experience and health and character.
