The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) informed through their official website a new program of the Korean Embassy in Manila for Employment Permit System (EPS) workers who were refused entry in Korea because of change identity.

By taking advantage of the program called, "Disclose Change of Identity" affected individuals will be allowed to enter Korea again. The program started on September 17 and would run until March 31, 2013.

Filipinos who can avail and participate in this program are the following:

• Filipinos currently in the Philippines and who went out of Korea holding a valid alien-registration.  Their passport information such as name, birth date, etc.  is  different  before  their  entry  to  Korea  and  after their  departure  from Korea.

• Deportees who were refused entry to Korea before September 11, 2012.

How to Avail

Interested applicants whose category falls in the above categories should personally submit these documents at the Korean Embassy.

1.  Application form to Disclose Change of Identity

2.  Statement on Disclose Change of Identity

3.  Old and  New Passport issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs

4.  Original copy of NBI clearance
