Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has posted the list of 238 agencies which they punished for non-issuance of receipts to their applicants from 2010-2013.

According to Hans Leo Cacdac collecting any fees to applicants without giving official receipts is prohibited under Section 2 (d), Rule 1, Part 6 of the POEA Rules and Regulations Governing the Recruitment and Employment of Landbase Overseas Workers.

 “This recruitment violation carries the penalty of suspension of license for two months to six months for the first offense; suspension of license for six months and one day to one year for the second offense; and cancellation of license for the third offense”, Cacdac added.

Cacdac said that POEA decided to publish the names of the agencies who have violated the rule so the public may identify them. He then added that they will also forward the list of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to review the violation of the agencies.

List of Agencies Penalized for Violation of Sec 2 (d) Rule 1 Part 6 as of January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2012.
