OFWs May Get Jobs in Japan

Japan may seek help of OFWs for construction, managerial and child care jobs in the country.
Japan may need OFWs to fill in over 25,000 construction worker jobs to build Olympic stadiums and arenas across Japan ahead of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics to be held on 2020. Add to that, Japan may also open more job opportunities aside from construction for OFWs and other foreign workers in aid of the labor shortage experienced by the country due to their aging population.
Female foreign workers, including female OFWs may also be needed to take managerial jobs, child care jobs and nursing jobs in Japan. Japan aims to increase the number of female employees in such sectors to give those industry a boost and help in the economic growth of the country.
Policies that increase foreign workers and female employees are important steps needed to stop the decline in the workforce, ease labor shortages, increase tax revenue and raise the potential growth rate of the sectors and the country's economy.
