How to Make a Claim Against Employer in Singapore

Overseas Filipino workers or OFWs covered by the Employment Act in Singapore can apply for a claim against their employer through the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). It can be done online or by booking an appointment.
Submitting a claim online:

Go to the Employment Standards Online (ESOL) for individuals page if you have left the job and wish to recover salary and other statutory payments from employer which include overtime, public holiday, and annual leave pay.

The following information is needed to file a claim:
- SingPass account
- Details of the company the case is file against like name, Unique Entity Number (UEN),
latest mailing address, and contact details.
- Personal information like name, NRIC/FIN number, home address and contact details
- Employment details like period of employment (start date and end date), occupation
and salary.

The validity of the claim based on the given information and submitted documents will be assessed by an officer.

Within 3 working days from the date of submission of claim, the officer will contact the applicant.

To complete the Labour Court Registration Process, an appointment will be organized, including the payment of a non-refundable registration fee of $3 via EZ-link or NETS Flashpay card.

ESOL service is available from 8:00 am to 11:59 pm, Mondays to Fridays and from 8:00 am to 11:59 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Making an appointment:
For complicated situations like

a case involving 5 or more workers against the same company;

a work permit holder without any SingPass access; or
-
issues including maternity claims
The applicant can book a 30-minute appointment with labour relations officer for an advice at Appointment@MOM or by calling 6438 5122.
The service is available from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Re-schedule or cancel appointment if you cannot attend, but remember that repeated cancellation will result to denied access in the future.
