DOH to Authenticate Medical Certificates of Japan-bound OFWs

The Bureau of Health Facilities and Services (BHFS) under the Department of Health (DOH) issued Circular No. 6 Series of 2003 dated September 3, 2003 requires the mandatory authentication of Pre-employment Medical Examination (PEME) Certificates and HIV/AIDS-Free Certificates of all overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) including seafarers for deployment to Japan.
