The skills shortage that is in-demand for migration includes accountants, engineers, medical specialist, and trade persons.
Who can participate?
Australian employers are looking for overseas workers who:
· are below 45 years of age
· have excellent English language skills
· are interested to live and work in
· are qualified and/or have work experiences for an occupation on the Migration Occupations in Demand List or the Skilled Occupation List
How to register?
Interested overseas workers can register on-line at www.immi.gov.au/skillexpos. They are only accepting on-line, and not through the Embassy, phone call or email.

How will I know that I can come on the expo?
The Australian Government will review all registration made and this will be done in
Invitation letters will be sent through the email address you used during the registration process. It is expected that the final invitations will be emailed to person no less than three days before the Expo.
On the day of the expo, you should bring along with you a printed copy of the invitation letter, together with some identification cards with picture to gain entry on the expo.
Applicants who are not qualified will also receive a letter informing them that their registration has not been successful.
Where will be the venue of the Expo?
The invitation letter also includes the information about the venue of the Expo.
What can I get when I attend on the expo?
When you attend to the expo you will:
· meet Australian employers suffering from skill shortages
· have a chance to talk to State and Territory governments who would like to employ overseas skilled workers
· learn more about migrating by yourself to
· listen to presentations on various topics, such as the Employer Sponsored Schemes, the Skill Matching Database, General Skilled Migration and Trades Recognition
Reminders:
· Invitation letters are not transferable.
· You cannot enter at the Expo if you are not holding an invitation letter.
· The name on your invitation letter should match with then name on your identification card (with picture), or else you cannot enter on the Expo.
· You cannot enter at the Expo, although you have the invitation letter, if you do not have an identification card (with picture).
