The website of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) posted job opportunities for an airline company (said to be the largest  in the Middle East) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as part of the government-to-government hiring program of POEA known as the Government Placement Branch (GPB).

The Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), based in Jeddah and Riyadh is in need of a Flight Dispatcher, and the Saudi Arabian Airlines-Catering needs Building Technician, Carpenter, Painter, Auto Electrician, Draftsman, and Industrial Electrician. The positions are open only to male applicants.

REQUIREMENTS

FLIGHT DISPATCHER

• Minimum – High School Graduate (passed twelve years of education)
• FAA Flight Dispatch License or ICAO relevant license
• Over five (5) years relevant work experience with major airlines
• Good standard for written and spoken English
• Salary will be based on qualification and job relevant work experience
• Plus usual SV benefits.

BUILDING TECHNICIAN

• Vocational or College graduate, specializing in Building Management
• Experience in building maintenance repairs or hotel environment, excellent diagnostic skills are required

CARPENTER

• Vocational graduate in General Carpentry
• Experience in an industrial kitchen, hotel and offices and staff accommodation works

PAINTER

• Vocational or Institute graduate specializing in painting
• Practical “on-the-job” experience in painting projects, wood / lumber finishing construction works in five (5) star hotels, hospitas or restaurants

AUTO ELECTRICIAN

• Vocational or Institute graduate in Automotive, specializing in Electrical Maintanance
• Experience in staff passengers and food lifting airport vehicles is preferred

DRAFTSMAN

• Diploma in Architectural Drafting with background in Electro-Mechanical Drafting
• On-hand knowledge of AutoCAD operations

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

• Vocational or College graduate, specializing in Industrial Electrical
• Experience in industrial kitchen or hotel environment to include general building electrical repairs and equipment control circuits; excellent diagnostic skills are required
