In celebration of the Labor Day on May 1, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will hold a local and overseas jobs and livelihood fair for Filipinos who are searching for employment and livelihood opportunities. This yearly event will be held simultaneously in different parts of the Philippines on Labor Day.

If you are applying for a work abroad and wants to pay the placement fee via salary deduction, be aware that the agency usually charge an interest to the money they will lend. The placement fee should not be the jobseekers' main concern in the application process because there are a lot of agencies that send Filipino workers abroad without asking for a placement fee. There are also foreign countries that require its citizens to shoulder the placement fee of foreign workers that they intend to hire.

It is very wrong to say that undergraduates do not have a chance of working abroad. In fact there are great job openings for abroad that does not include a bachelor’s degree in its list of requirements.
