POEA Announces Test Venues for 6th EPS-Korean Language Test

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration has released the guidelines for the 6th EPS-Korean Language Test (EPS-KLT) that will happen on May 2. According to an advisory released in the POEA website, the exam will be given from 10:30 am to 11:40 am. However the applicants must be in their respective test rooms at 8:00 a.m.

  Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are now exempted from paying taxes such as documentary stamp tax (DST) on their remittances, travel tax and airport fee. Migrant workers now enjoy this tax-free privilege because it is included in the revised Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act.

According to the POEA Chief, Jennifer Jardin-Manalili, their agency and the HRD Korea will be in special designated areas in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao from April 6 to 8 to conduct registration. They are yet to announce other details about the registration such as time and place.
