Nature of Job:
Medical Representative serves as the link between the pharmaceutical company and prospect clients like hospital and community centers. They sell different kinds of medicines, topical treatments and medical equipments.
Basic Tasks:
- Visit prospect clients to present and make negotiations about the featured product.
- Sell and give samples to prospect clients.
- Inform clients about the product’s price, warranty, nutritional value, side effects, and other important information.
- Make a routine visit to different hospitals and community centers to present the products.
- Make presentations to clients.
- Advises customers on the suitable medicines or equipments.
- Arrange orders and reservations ordered products.
- Make negotiations with the pharmaceutical company about the price and demand of the customers.
Educational and Training Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of B.S. Nursing or Pharmacy and hold relevant license
- Must have at least 1-3 years experience in selling medical products and equipments.
Skills and Competency Requirements:
- Must have wide knowledge in pharmaceutical.
- Ability to sell and persuade people
- Knowledge in basic medicinal treatments and apparatus
- Must have knowledge in basic marketing strategies.
- Must have good communications skills
- Willing to go and be assigned in far places.
- Can make good presentations.
