Jeddah, Saudi Arabia needs hundreds of foreign workers to be able to complete the construction of a new deepwater container port terminal. To meet the target date of completion which is next year, Jeddah currently have hundreds of employment opportunities for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). As Saudi employers prefer to hire OFWs, no placement fee will be charged to qualified applicants.

According to the LBS E-Recruitment Solutions Inc. president, Lito Soriano, job vacancies will be for the port operations professionals in planning, customs/documentation, mobile equipment, information technology, and inventory management.

Positions will be for the technical, supervisory, and management personnel of the logistics center in Jeddah. The center is also a bonded and a re-export zone.

Soriano said, "Electrical, civil, crane engineers, quay crane operators, trailer truck drivers, wharf gate managers are just some of the over 200
initial positions that Red Sea Gateway Terminal [RSGT] executives will interview from December 20-23 [including Sunday] this week."
