For jobseekers and for those who are thinking of ways to augment their income, Quirino Grandstand is the place to be this Independence Day as it is the venue for the Mega Jobs and Livelihood Fair organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The Mega Job Fair will be held on June 12, 2008 while the Livelihood Fair will be from June 10-12 in front of the Qurino Grandstand, at Rizal Park, Manila.

Over 15,000 local and overseas job opportunities will be offered by recruitment agencies that will participate in the said job fair. Applicants are advised to bring the following: resumes, bio-data, 2x2 pictures, school credentials, training and employment certificate, NBI clearance, SSS, birth certificate, TIN, and passport (if available).

Other services that will be offered to attendees include: Phil-jobnet online employment, skills demo, competency assessment, and youth profiling, DOLE assistance clinic, and product sale of DOLE livelihood program beneficiaries.
